The Twenty-Ninth Annual Conference of the Society for Descriptive Psychology will be held from Thursday, September 27th to Sunday, September 30th at the Golden Hotel (www.thegoldenhotel.com) in Golden, Colorado.
A Golden Conference!
The Society for Descriptive Psychology’s annual conference will be returning this year to the Golden Hotel (www.goldenhotel.com) in historic downtown Golden, Colorado. This location was a great hit in 2006, and it permits more society members and others interested in Descriptive Psychology to attend. We encourage those of you who haven’t been able to attend for a while to consider returning to the conference this year to renew your connection to DP and to society members.
If you would like to present at the conference, please send a topic and brief abstract to Tony Putman, President-Elect, at tonyputman@earthlink.net. You can also reach Tony by phone at (734) 663-5435.
As always, formats might include formal addresses, read papers, exercises for audience participation, or the use of audiovisual materials. Although many people use the descriptive psychology framework in an implicit fashion in much of the work they do, conference presentations should explicitly address descriptive psychology content. Presentations could involve, for example, discussions of the DP framework, applications of DP, or sessions in which presenters seek input from other attendees regarding their work with DP. In your abstract, please give some information about the type of presentation you have in mind and the approximate length.
We hope to see all of you at the conference this year for several days of renewal and relaxation with fellow Society members and guests!
